Raw Cleansing – Welcome to Phase 3
Welcome to phase 3, where nuts and seeds are now included. This week opens up a whole new world of foods from simple to gourmet. Today I have a simple breakfast and a sweet snack, because who says raw can’t include some healthy indulgences! And who says raw has to take a long time to prepare.
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 peach chopped
This is a simple breakfast that is high in protein and taste. Mix chia seeds and salt with almond milk and let set in refrigerator for 1-2 hours (or overnight). Once it has gelled, top with any sliced fruit for a great meal on the run. It’s even easier than oatmeal and quite tasty. Enjoy!
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 TB raw dried coconut shavings
- 1 TB goji berries
- 1 TB nut butter or coconut aminos
- Sprinkle of cacao nibs
This can be a fun dessert or a simple snack at any point in the day. You can add in any berries, or apples, or oranges, or mangoes or pineapple. The coconut and cacao nibs give it some crunch while the nut butter adds some protein. For extra sweetness add coconut aminos or agave.
