Benson Bubblers are iconic bronze drinking fountains named after businessman and philanthropist Simon Benson, mostly located in Portland, Oregon, United States. In 1912, Benson donated $10,000 for the purchase and installation of 20 fountains; the designer was Portland architect A. E. Doyle
Bricks & Windows
The warmth of brick catches my eye every time! This is inside Bridgeport Brewery. They used to have a bakery too. I’d walk to the gym, then treat myself to a savory scone while reading John Geer’s blog. That was back when blogs were a new thing.
Spring Petals & Bricks
I loved the NW part of town for it’s walkability! There was a restaurant, coffee shop, salon or business on every block and great access to public transportation. Here are cherry blossoms being washed off the trees by rain.
