The warmth of brick catches my eye every time! This is inside Bridgeport Brewery. They used to have a bakery too. I’d walk to the gym, then treat myself to a savory scone while reading John Geer’s blog. That was back when blogs were a new thing.
Spring Petals & Bricks
I loved the NW part of town for it’s walkability! There was a restaurant, coffee shop, salon or business on every block and great access to public transportation. Here are cherry blossoms being washed off the trees by rain.
Winter Sky
A beautiful sunset from my fifth floor apartment in NW Portland. My window to the world. This was just prior to the “Arctic Blast” we had that winter with two feet of snow that last more than two weeks!
First Fall in Portland
I fell in love with the changing colors of the leaves during my first fall in the Pacific Northwest. I lived on the 5th floor up above the rain and snow and I’d come down to wander the street of NW Portland with camera in hand.
